Mabinogi Calendar
Through a little research and calculations, I came to the conclusion I present to you now.
Since we age one year every Samheim (Saturday), and that each day has 36 real life minutes, it was possible to assume that each real life day was equivalent to a 40 days month in-game, and each year has 7 months.
Since this can be a useful tool for role-players, and it brings on a new dimension to interpret the game systems, I'm posting the result of my reserach.
I'm working on a specific horoscope based on Mabinogi canon too, so you can "know" things about your character based on when did he or she born the first time (when you created your character).
According to this, we're on year 2 of the Mabinogi Years (2m.y. to put it short), and right now the current Mabinogi date would be Lughnasadh 28th of 2m.y.
Here's how to read my Mabinogi year calendar:

And here, the calendar itself:

Any suggestions to make the reading easier you can post here, or message ingame, I'm Raoul on Tarlach.
Hope you guys enjoy it.

Fix, not as in mending, but as in appending!
I though t that maybe you could place a link on the forum portal, we could work on a nice HTML for that...
Just thoughts, by the way.

Re: Mabinogi Calendar
As far as "a link to this thread", easily done. But if you wanted some kind of applet that will display 'current day in Mabinogi' on the front page... Well I'm semi-HTML-illiterate. So, you'd have to write the code, or have someone else do it, and then I could insert it into the portal.
The only thing I don't think I can do is upload additional files to the forum's account for an applet to reference, but, if it's possible to make it reference files on another server, I'd be happy to upload any necessary files to my business website.

You're welcome to use the javascript Raoul and I worked on at http://shadowdarke.byondhome.com/mabinogi/mabitime.html It reports the day and current in game time. The only external files are the pictures that Raoul has already provided on imageshack. If you want any modifications or need a hand figuring out how to get it running on this page, just let me know.

Re: Mabinogi Calendar
Hrm, I am having some difficulty getting it to run. This is what I put in the module code:
Please don't laugh if it's all horribly wrong, I'm HTML illiterate. I just copypasted the source. My concern is that the modules won't be allowed to have their own 'head' sections... and unfortunately, the Module script doesn't seem too keen on retaining line-breaks.
- Code:
<HEAD><script type="text/javascript">/* Version 2 by Shadowdarke, Original Code by Coleman, Images and Calendar from flugelboy, Data from World Time Server *//* Version 2.1 */var monthPic = ["http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/3346/05lughnasadhkq9.gif", "http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/605/06albanelvedsi3.gif", "http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/773/07samhaimel6.gif", "http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/4296/01imbolicbw9.gif", "http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/2011/02albaneilerla7.gif", "http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/5717/03baltanejj8.gif", "http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/443/04albanheruinsk0.gif"];var monthTxt = ["Lughnasadh", "Alban Elved", "Samhaim", "Imbolic", "Alban Eiler", "Baltane", "Alban Heruin"];function updateCalendar() { var currentTime = new Date() var mabiTime = currentTime.getTime() - 25200000; // UTC - 7 hours var mnth = Math.floor(mabiTime/86400000)%7; // one month per 24 hours var day = Math.floor(mabiTime/2160000)%40 + 1; // one day per 36 minutes var hh = Math.floor(mabiTime/90000)%24; // one hour per 1.5 minutes var mm = Math.floor(mabiTime/1500)%60; // one minute per 1.5 seconds if(mm<10) mm = "0" + mm; var bk = "th"; if((day<4) || (day>20)) { switch(day%10) { case 1: bk = "st"; break; case 2: bk = "nd"; break; case 3: bk = "rd"; break; default: bk = "th"; } } if(Calendar.innerHTML) { Calendar.innerHTML = '<table width=290 height=125><td background="' + monthPic[mnth] + '"><center><font size="1"><font face="Tahoma">Today is the ' + day + bk + ' day of ' + monthTxt[mnth] +'. <font size="5"><br>' + hh + ":" + mm + '<br><br></td></table>'; } else { document.write('<table width=290 height=125><td background="' + monthPic[mnth] + '"><center><font size="1"><font face="Tahoma">Today is the ' + day + bk + ' day of ' + monthTxt[mnth] +'. <font size="5"><br>' + hh + ":" + mm + '<br><br></td></table>Functions best in Internet Explorer of Mozilla Firefox.'); }}</script></HEAD><BODY>

Re: Mabinogi Calendar
Yep, you got the right script. Line breaks don't really matter, as they're just a matter of perception to HTML and javascript. If you dump the head and body tags (including the closing tags), it should work. You might want to remove "position: absolute; left: 623; top: 27; z-index: 5; " from the style attribute of the Calendar DIV so it will just stay wherever you place it in the page layout.
