Kagaea, is desu -required- in the romanji / hiragana to be added at the end of each sentence, or can can it be skipped so long as you aren't trying to declare something as being? Because thinking about it, I don't see the hiragana too often for it when trying to translate stuff online :< But it might just be I haven't noticed it until now.

"desu" is not required at the end of each sentence, only at the end of a sentence that uses it.

"Desu" is, as you stated earlier, the Japanese verb that translates as "to be" or "is." If the sentence isn't saying something along those lines, then it's not required, just use the proper verb at the end of the sentence.

And thank you, Kagaea for the clarification. I knew was just a verb to be, but I wasn't sure if it was more than that - kind of like period at the end of a sentence.

Working on still memorizing my adjectives, adding in nouns today!

Everyone check in and say that they're studying, every day =) I'm tempted to make a roll call sheet for you guys!

I'm also going to work on making some "homework assignments"
