Atm, Sulia's main plot revolves around spending snuggytime with Kaye, and fighting off the evil fomors, which seem to be multiplying each day.

Giant sandworm is pain. D: And painfully annoying. Stupid Falcon quest - the moment I gave up on looking for it and finished up another option on that part of getting the skill, I run across the thing while returning to Quilla. Was so ticked off...then again, the thing nearly killed me after one of my arrows bounced off it, so maybe it's good I gave up on hunting it... XD
And a note to Omni and anybody else that thinks so: I believe the 'plot system' is an optional thing. You don't have to be a part of plots if you don't wanna, always able to make up your own little something if you feel like, or nothing at all. Plenty other ways to have fun in the guild, be it just simplish roleplays, playing Mabinogi for what it is, or just...I dunno whatever you wanna do. It's a game, play it how you feel it should be played. XD Plotlines are just for those who want to spend time doing them.
At least that's what I think about it.

Well honnestly that's how it should be. But really with it's only fun if you can keep up with it all inless you trip and can't get on for a couple of days if that plot stills goes on and you wonder what happens asking some times doesn't work and so soon enough only the people who have caught up can roleplay with it. I mean sometimes you invite people to roleplay then it turns into the whole big plot thing instead of a just a normal roleplay in the works. It's unavoidable. People complain about each others plots too which starts into flaming wars.
And really you wouldn't be talking to anyone else because everyone else who has a problem with it already left RPS or refused to join. While I made my own guild I met alot of people.

"That's how it should be"? I just said that's how it is! XD And as for what you're describing, those plots ARE avoidable. You've always been free to walk out on as you please. Nobody would have held that against you if you excused yourself; and again, you still had the choice of whether you wanted to go or not to begin with.
Again, this is just from my point of view and my own experiences within the guild. Not sure how things have gone on your end, but just politely slipping out when things became too much has worked fine in every scenario you're talking about for me.
Also, no offense (as much as I know you hate hearing that phrase XP), but you could always stick to your own guild if you don't like the way players in others operate.

Re: WAKE THE HELL UP YOU LAZY ARSES!
Not trying to start anything I was just speaking about what it seemed to be like to me. Just like how you said it seems like to you. I may be taking this the wrong way but 'this is how it IS' doesn't that seem like more like an opinion or viewpoint more then a fact? And it truely throws one of when at the end some one puts 'at least that is what I think about it' at the end of the paragraph.
Not really saying I have a big problem or much of a problem at all. I was just saying some problems I saw with it.
I remember a time when constructive viewpoints were seen without them looking like they were trying kill something...

Ah, yes. Those were good days weren't they? XP And seeing as we're both doing this, I suppose we can agree to disagree about it. Now that I think about it though, is this really the right topic to be discussing it in either way?

Well I saw some people talking about plots for half of this and the other half was about sand worms...so the question comes up also, is this really the place to be talking about sand worms?

I think that had to do with the topic's topic, which you said something about, then I said something about, and now I have the feeling this is gonna go in circles, so I'm gonna stop talking now.

Re: WAKE THE HELL UP YOU LAZY ARSES!
Something I think would work so much better for everyone, with respect to plot lines anyways, is that those who wish to run such stories remember those basic rules of role play mentioned is READ THIS FIRST.
After all that, what little there is, here are a few suggestions <= Note: Suggestions, so not mandatory but may be a good idea to follow
Start a thread for the plot
Update it with what has happened from any role play session in game and add any offstage events other players may learn about before the next scene.
This will keep everyone in the loop and hopefully, you as the plot master, can keep the plot running despite the isues with certain charracters being available at any one time
Now a warning:
Remember that any plot line you make is NOT yours to dictate down to the minutest detail.
Your plot is not a script - it is an outline of characters (NPCs) motivations and a possible chain of events
The players are not actors in your employ
The moment you have other peoples characters join, YOU have lost absolute control on your plot.
Of course if someone breaks the 3rd wall or does something totally out of character or ability then you have the right to call a time out and fix the issue.
It is YOUR responsibility to adjust your plot events based on character actions - so what if someone derails your bad guys evilness thingy - let him get away and hatch a new plan to include the troublemaker next time.
It is encouraged to bring one or two assistants who are in the know of what the bad guy wants to help set up circumstances and events BUT go with the flow of what really happens - if you have some way of logging a session and then post it then all the better
'nuff said for now I think

Ok I like those rules...
I think people have followed them enough but is there anything in there in which the person who made the plot tell the person to stop doing what they are doing like a certain action?
Or is that just of something diffrent in the other section of the rules
...no particular reason and I won't mention it again I am just looking back to a few certain instances is all... and well it's best to know the rules down pat incase something previously will happen again which brings up further conflict...

Ok, I am NOT going to read all the post, but I did see something about plots being bad. Plots are only bad if you make them about yourself only and don't give a chance for other people to join them. Ex. Making you the main char, making the main boss only go for you, make everything happen to you, and making you the one who does everything important.
