A Transformation

A letter, sealed with the crest of the noble family, sits in front of the guildstone held down by a few rocks to protect the letter from sudden gusts.
On the letter, it says:
My friends,
As some of you may have known, I have fallen ill due to the fact that my body is changing. This change is most likely occurring because of a recent attack at Osna Sail last night. I was taking my friend, Mae, to Emain Macha for the first time when I felt something tackle me from behind. The beast clawed and bite at my back, strangely going through my armor. Mae shot at the beast with an arrow, but it "turned to dust" as she told me. I couldn't believe such nonsense...
Unfortunately, I started having back problems as we walked on. They grew worst and worst until I suddenly lost consciousness.
I don't think I should explain more for now... I've done some research on a way to stop this transformation, but there is no way to reverse it I'm afraid. These changes will grow into my soul until I lose my humanity completely. So I ask anyone out there, Anyone, to please help me. The ingredients for the cure are locked away in dungeons all over Erinn and a couple in Iria, I can't fight all that well with these changes twisting my body and soul. If there's anyone out there who feels the need to aid a knight of Erinn, I ask of you to meet me at the archive in Dunbarton.
((As you guys can see, Wolfe is in need of help, this'll be fun with various dungeon runs and possibly a twist or turn here and there
hope to see some of you guys there, I want to kick this party off as soon as I get home form school
