Much Ado About Mentors
So! You've applied for the guild and you've gotten the thumbs up from the membership.
What's next, you might ask? Mentoring!
Mentoring is a program your friendly neighborhood officers decided upon in order to give applicants a trial run with the guild, so to speak.
This is also used to help correct any problems that may develop at a latter date.
--
What does your mentored trial run entail?
Basically, once you've been assigned a mentor team, you'll need to get in contact with the team leader assigned your case and see what times are best for the both of you to spend some time together.
What you do with your mentor is essentially up to said mentor, but don't worry--it won't involve anything too tormenting.
After your trial run--which can be anywhere from 2 days to one week--your fate in the guild will be decided and our fearless leader will either accept or reject your application based on officer opinion coupled with your mentor's evaluation of you.
During this trial, make the most of your mentor!
Show off your best and brightest characterization.
If you have weak points that need to be addressed then ask for and listen to the advice given.
Try and keep things interesting.
Your mentor may choose to have you tag along on dungeon runs, guild events, or any number of activities.
That's not to say you should suck up to your mentor, but try and put our best foot forward.
Everyone is here to have fun and to learn something new.
Hopefully I've covered every issue with the mentor program. If there are any other questions, feel free to ask here, or poke an officer in-game.

Mentors should also also keep an eye on the Registration Forum and speak up if they wish to mentor (or not mentor) a particular recruit. Katinia is ready for her mentor period and I'd rather take volunteers than assign random people.
Now that I have forum admin abilities, I'm setting up a mentor rank and group for the forums, so that you and everyone else will know when your mentor application has been accepted.

And how do we go about applying? Not everyone is suited for mentoring, and might do more harm than good by trying.

We are listing potential mentors, and we will ask them about it.
"Don't call us, we call you!"
