RolePlayX Guild Requests To Join Us

So in game today the leader of the guild RolePlayX requested that he and his guild members leave their current guild and join ours. Said leader is Omnisagi, a member who left here due to arguments a couple of months ago. He wishes to give his apologies for his rash actions and bring his members as well. However he wish to be reinstated into the guild and for his members to join as well without going through the application process. I have spoken to him about it and have told him that the chances of bypassing the application process are slim to none. With that, this is a simple notification of their wanting to join. If it is agreed upon for some reason that they can bypass the process, I will give them notice to request entrance into the guild.

Well firstly, Omnisagi is a girl.
I'm happy for her to re-join, but all evidence suggests that the people who drove her h=out have yet to actually resolve their issues

If she can behave herself this time and those with grudges against her can do the same, I'm fine with it.

I'm willing to believe everything will work smoothly.

She sent me a PM asking to be let back in directly.
Since there was a parting of ways that was not on the best of terms I can not in all good conscience give a free pass to her or her guild members.

To be fair to her and her guild mates I am going to offer a bit of fast tracking on the approval process turn around time BUT they will all have to apply formally, just like everyone else who has joined the guild in the past. Since she has left I am hoping that she has matured a bit since then and will be able to mentor her members in what is expected in the ways of conduct and behavior in the guild.

Each will have to read and abide by the Rules and Guidelines as set out here on the list, just like everyone else.

I am willing to give her a second chance and hope that everyone else will be able to do the same.

Oh man, her entire guild? THAT I'm a little more hesitant about, but...yeah, if they go through the normal processes and are approved, then I'm okay with it. From what I've seen with some of the members I passed by though, I'm...gonna be watching this applicants a little more closely than usual... XD;

Uh woops I didn't mean that they didn't need to apply but I was just saying that eh, nevermind scratch that bit, and yeah I am really sorry for being a jerk and /ragequitting. So anyway my rules were pretty much the same as yours but I think they should apply. They are all really fun weather they have been roleplaying for just a few days/weeks or if they have been roleplaying for years. I think this can work out smoothly. I'm sorry again for my actions.


Edit: Oh and Eugeal (The Kerrins ((lol)) ) I think the way they all put it was that I wasn't roleplaying well. If this works out and I rejoin, give them a week to decide if I can roleplay well enough.

Hmmm this can be a problem, I bare no grudge against Omni, but I believe some still do. We will have to ask all the guild, and no offence meant but the last time I met your guildies Omni I was not a big fan ^^;;;;;

Aren't most who did out of the guild? Xenny, Caliandra I think, and Thomas I don't know what happened to him along with Jtipton and...well the last generation of RPS. Although Xeek, I wouldn't blame you if you did. Although is it my guildies experience? Because I know that is lacking but can't we all look beyond that? Isn't the point of roleplaying about having fun? And not to start anything but from all over I find people not wanting to teach people how to roleplay really. And then turning around and complaining and wondering why there aren't as many roleplayers as there used to be. Maybe it's because they won't teach people? I mean really if you have met my guildies they aren't at all jerks in any respect. Me and Takatomuashi learned how to roleplay by just learning by ourselves or together. That's the harder rode to take. Anyway I don't want to start flaming by this at all and this might be not relivant at all considering I said all over. I guess I was just trying to make a point of something that I might have seen infered, no hard feelings or anything if that wasn't what you ment.

Also Xeek don't use the 'no offense' because that just makes it offensive if not more offensive. x.x

My point being we are all people who want to have fun and roleplay. If you want, I don't need to join. I just feel like it would be better for my guildies considering i'm not the best leader. No need to hold them back for a grudge that my friends have.

Hey also: Isn't this society supposed to be a society I mean part of the reason why I thought about doing this was a certain three people from this place reminded me of something very important that I forgot. I think that the roleplay community shouldn't be split like this anyway.

I never said they couldn't join(Is not upto me to decide), but the last time I met them they didn't listen to anyone..not even you.

And that's another reason why I am not a good leader...but is that why you wouldn't like them? A few can get a bit hyper and such at times. But that's no reason not dislike them... although it would get annoying it's my fault for not get the rules down.

I say that anyone who is willing enough to admit what Omni has and to overcome it is worthy enough for a second chance. I agree with what Cap has stated that they should all reapply and once doing so we simply go from there. Roleplaying is about having fun overall, but with that requires a structure. It doesn't have to be stern structure or anything, just more like a few guidelines and courtesies. Ok I've said my piece! Now let our newest members roll in! Kaye needs huggles!!!
