WAR? (Is It Ok Or Do We Have A Problem?)

Hello! You May Be wondering what this is all about



Well After A bit of thinking, I thought somthing. I noticed that between Elves and Giants, We start to fight even our best friends. Why do we do it? After awhile, it can break up your friend-ship.You might say,"Please stop!!!" But they just dont lisin. It may not be right, but I dont think its right to fight like that. It might be fun at first, but then you realize,Its nothing but just fighting. Most WOULDNT agree, Dont we have enough trouble with Pallys And Dark Knights?

You may just think its for fun, but to tell the truth, I think this has gone a bit to far.

I Want YOUR Help. I want To prove If its ok or not. Ok so you may of got bored of just "reading" all that.So the main idea is, Im not sure is Elves v Giants is good. What Do You Think? Post you complete TRUE thought about it. I need YOUR help.......

I'm not a PvP type person, so the PvP toggles remain off (the default).

Well, just about all of us has made both an elf and a giant character (although my giant is not an RPer)
We also get cases of Thomas, who has been consistantly switching sides since they were introduced. Although outside of the guild, this may actually be a problem, inside we either don't care, or are experienced in dealing with unfriendly characters (Ask anyone who has met Rebecca)

It's like Giants can't join an elf's party and vice versa. This really ticks me off because we can't rp with giants and elves...

I wanted to write this in Aeturnus's POV for the hell of it but I actually have strong feelings for this topic...

Personally I think it's O.K. if it's completely within the realms of RPing purposes. It adds a very interesting element to game play, especially since PVP can be done anywhere so long as the people involved are willing (meaning they have PVP turned on). Outside of that context it's pointless, and can be quite irritating. Unforunately, most pvp I've seen has been out of the context of RPing and is performed by bored douches to try and ruin someone else's day. Not only does it take away from the true meaning behind the whole Giant vs. Elves scenario, but it also convinces other people that PvP is better left turned off (including myself).

I believe it has been taken too far. Perhaps if the population of Mabinogi were more mature and not just little kids stealing their parents' credit cards, it might have actually worked for me. But I'm far too "busy" to be ice / windmill camped when I've got things to kill :3.

me its simple for me if my pvp is on then:ya bite me i bite you..its as simple as that ya kill me i kill you and pvp is generally off for me...
